Evaluations
Evaluations are offered in-person at office location or via teletherapy to clients in the state of TN. Comprehensive evaluations consist of various standardized and non-standardized assessments, clinician observations, and parent/caregiver interview. A detailed report and explanation of findings are provided after each evaluation.
Types of evaluations offered include the following: Speech & Language, Language & Literacy (dyslexia), and Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC).
Speech-Language Therapy
Speech-language therapy sessions are intervention services offered in-person at office location or via teletherapy to clients in the state of TN. Therapy services are targeted but not limited to the following treatment areas: articulation disorders, apraxia of speech, expressive/receptive language disorders, dyslexia (literacy), social skills, autism, AAC, and fluency disorders (stuttering).
Virtual Barton Reading & Spelling Intervention
Barton Reading & Spelling program is Orton-Gillingham based instruction. The Barton program is designed for students who have or have suspected dyslexia. This program can be effective for various children struggling with literacy.

Hopes & Dreams Speech Therapy is in network with the following insurances:

United Healthcare (UHC) (Commercial and TennCare)
Amerigroup/Wellpoint
If your insurance is not listed, a superbill may be provided upon request to be submitted to insurance by the client/caregiver in hopes of reimbursement. Reimbursement is not a guarantee and depends on the specific insurance policy and benefits.
Speech & Language Evaluation
$175 - 60 minutes
An initial evaluation is required for all new clients seeking speech-language therapy services unless the client has had a speech-language evaluation completed within the past year and a copy of that evaluation report can be provided.
A superbill can be provided for this evaluation on request.
Language & Literacy Evaluation (Dyslexia)
$250 - 90 minutes
Language & Literacy evaluations are completed upon referral for testing or on parent request. This includes testing for Dyslexia.
A superbill can be provided for this evaluation on request.
Speech - Language Therapy
$65/30 minutes
$90/60 minutes
Speech-language therapy sessions can be scheduled for 30 or 60 minute sessions depending on the parents/caregivers wants and the client’s specific needs. Therapy sessions can be scheduled 1-3x/week depending on availability. These sessions will be a weekly or bi-weekly occurrence and duration will depend on the parents/caregivers wants and the client’s needs.
A superbill can be provided for each therapy session on request.
Barton Virtual Intervention
$100/60 minute session
Barton Reading & Spelling intervention will be 60 minute sessions. They are scheduled according to your schedule and clinician’s availability.
An evaluation is not required to begin this intervention.
This is not an insurance covered service unless the client is in TN and receives an evaluation and diagnosis before beginning.
